Pal Pal Dil Ke Paas vs Prassthanam box office collection: Day 3
ast week's Friday saw the clash of Pal Pal Dil Ke Pass, Prassthanam and The Zoya Factor but none of these films impressed the audience.
Pal Pal Dil Ke Paas
Sunny Deol's son Karan Deol made his debut with Pal Pal Dil Ke Pass last week. Along with the Pal Pal Dil Ke Pass, Sonam Kapoor's The Zoya Factor and Sanjay Dutt's Prassthanam were also released on Friday (September 20). All three films, however, didn't impress the audience much.
Pal Pal Dil Ke Pass minted Rs 1.1 to 1.2 crore on the first day of its release. It performed fairly well on weekend. On Saturday, the film bagged Rs 1.55 crore and it is expected to make Rs 1 crore on Sunday.
Pal Pal Dil Ke Pass performed better than Sonam's The Zoya factor, which minted just Rs 85 lakh on the opening day. Pal Pal Dil Ke Pass is directed by Sunny Deol. It also stars Sahher Bambba in lead role.
Prassthanam
The film didn't receive great reviews from the critics and Karan too failed to impress them. Our reviewer Jyoti Kanyal gave the film 2 out of 5 stars. She wrote, "Karan Deol is just a cute face in the 2-hour-and-36-minute-long film. The actor carries the same expression throughout the film. Deol Junior needed extreme polishing before his launch. One can see Papa Sunny in Karan in bits and pieces when the former gets angry and the dhai-kilo-ka-haath threatens to break out. Sahher Bambba, on the other hand, is a pleasant surprise. She creates magic with her portrayal of a typical Delhi vlogger. You may find some Delhi girls in your friend list who are just like her - chirpy, beautiful and family-loving."
